When considering the elusiveness which has become so much a part of our world, the importance of a yearbook that will accurately recall memories of our college liv6S has been the purpose of the staff of OPTICON '68, It would be gratifying if we could say that we had de- veloped an entirely unprecedented format, but while it is not unique, we have produced a yearbook, OPTICON '68, different from any that Post has yet seen. We have worked hard, and sometimes so hard that we lost sight of our aspirations. During these times our goal has seemed unattainable, but we feel we have overcome them.
