X I i ' H .N . . ,c.. .X nv I ilvwt? 'fx . st cs ,l..Si Dear Fellow Students, lt has been our singular goal with OPTICON '68 to present a book which meaningfully depicts a total view of Post. When considering the elusiveness which has become so much a part of our world, the importance of a yearbook that will accurately recall memories of our college liv6S has been the purpose of the staff of OPTICON '68, It would be gratifying if we could say that we had de- veloped an entirely unprecedented format, but while it is not unique, we have produced a yearbook, OPTICON '68, different from any that Post has yet seen. We have worked hard, and sometimes so hard that we lost sight of our aspirations. During these times our goal has seemed unattainable, but we feel we have overcome them. So far this has been our yearbook, we hope it will now become yours. Sincerely yours, gall'-c isiyslco Sam Agostino Editor-in-Chief, Opticon '63

We moved in any- way. We had running water-Yea, right? Running all around the build- ings. The Mudhole-we call it, but it's home, our real home. Socially, with Mike Tucci a chair- man, we've matured also, the Dionne Warwick concert proved to be one of the most successful events the S.G.A. had ever attempted. Homecoming run bY the Junior class, under Stu Krane was Qreat! Everyone was all psyched Mnwq - ,.,,,.-- - .......1:....,.... ....-...-..-..-.-....-.a ww for the concert with the Top's and Flip Wilson but it turned out Top- less. Everyone, of course, was dis- appointed but the Free Concert made up for it. Winter Weekend also had its troubles, when one of the Letter- men collapsed the day before. ln their place we saw another great show put on by the Happenings, the wit of Jackie Vernon, and a sur- prisingly exciting performance by Lori Burton, a relative unknown. Sat- urday ended the weekend with an evening spent in the Gay 9O's with entertainment by Your Father's Moustache Banio Band and W. C. Fielcls' movies. Ot course, beer and peanuts were a maior part also. Many changes have occurred at Post during our four years at Post. What will future bring? .................L, 247
