', 2. I '4 ' wi I Q, BC' s Phi Kappa Tau became the college's seventh fraternity in the spring of 1960 with a chapter of twenty three. Since then it has grown in prestige and number. One finds Phi Tau's in all phases of college life, from the captain of the track team to members of the faculty. Phi Kappa Tau stresses brotherhood, scholar- ship and character and tries to live up to and be guided by these goals. The fraternity has established an annual scholarship for a Post student to pre- serve the memory of a beloved brother, l62 ali.. Skip Solstes. With the advent of spring comes the New England Tour , which includes a softball game with all the New Eng- land Phi Tau chapters. Phi Tau's social calendar had such events as Founders Day, Remember the Alamo Day, Bastille Day, Viking Festival, Toga Parties, Boat- ride Parties, Spring and Fall Weekends and numerous other parties, as well as many events held in conjunction with the neighboring Phi Kappa Tau chapter at St. John's University.
