A I QR Sigma .alpha 'llheta On l ehruary O, WV, a group ot' girls concerned with the betterment ol' their college as well as ot' themselves, established an organization which was to be Jgtliclecl hy the ideals ot' sincerity and truth. Through these ideals the women of Sigma Alpha Theta have maintained a close bond ol' sisterhood, while at the same time, each sister has continued to maintain her individuality. In this manner Sigina Alpha Theta has been able to continue the leadership which has become a tradition among the sisters. This year sister Cirace l.ankau was treasurc-r ol- the Senior classg sister Phyllis Schier was chairman ol. the Lecture Series, associate editor ot' the lireshman Key and a summer sponsorg sister Vicky Machulsky was a summer sponsor as well as this yc-ar's llome- coming Queen. Sister Carroll Munz was editor of the Freff'w1f111 Kei' and recipient ol' the Cireen Key Award. Sister Suzanne Dickenson, recipient ol last year's Freshman Alumnae Citizenship Award, was elected delegate. High scholastic achievement has led the sisters to win the Panhellenic' Scholastic Achievement Award again. Fligliligglitiiig their social Calendar is their formal Induction Dinner-Dance held each year at the Huntington Town House. The sisters of Sigma Alpha Theta are proud oli their heritage and continuing success in every field. Each sister knows that the bonds of Sisterhood are everlasting and that the friendship and warmth that are so much a part of their college lives will remain with them always.
