r Dear Fellow Students, The life and spirit of any college is a difficult thing to present. Each member of this year's staff had different ideas as to what should be included in a complete picture of college life, and the task of deciding which aspects were most important and representative was a difficult one. Opticon 1966 is our effort to portray the life force behind C.W. Post College. We feel that the Work we have put into this book has been worthwhile. We have tried to present new ideas in design and layout, in the opening section and in the Greek section. We have included more color than ever before and have tried to put the main emphasis on candid photos. ln doing this, We have worked toward one objective: to produce a yearbook of which the Class of l966 can be proud.
