Phi Sigma Delta Phi Sigma Delta Fraternity, Al- pha Xi Chapter, became the first national at CW. Post College in May of 1958. Ever since that momentous day the brothers have set as their duty and aim to pro- mote brotherhood and understand- ing among all people. The frater- nity serves the school, the country, and its national organization by encouraging and helping to de- velop intellectual and social ma- turity, and acting in the best in- terests of the school and the com- munity. Socially speaking, this year has been outstanding for the fraternity, its biggest event, the Annual Spring Formal, is always the high spot of the year. As Well as running the frater- nity, the brothers of Phi Sigma Delta Fraternity feel it is their duty to serve the college in as many Ways as possible. Brother Ronald Sylvertri has been the greatest contributer in the frater- nity to school activities. He has served on countless campus committees and organi- zations and has been the Chair- man of The Student Life Commit- tee, The S.G.A. President's Coun- cil, The Deanis Student Affairs Committee, and has been the Man- ager ofthe Post Pioneer Circula- tion Staff. Stu Ruben served as the Vice-President of the Inter- Fraternity Council. James Shapiro serves as Office Manager of the Student Offices, and as The Sec- retary of Orientation, along with many other brothers who served as Green Band Leaders. Also several of the brothers are work- ing diligently in the Court System. Phi Sigma Delta Fraternity is very fortunate to have three very capable and helpful advisors: Dr. Richard Runyon, Chairman of the Psychology Department, Dr. Ar- thur Kruger, Chairman of the Speech Department, and Dr. Hill- iard Lenox, Associate Professor of History and Political Science.
