' hi Kappa Tau Phi Kappa Tau became the college's seventh fraternity in the Spring of 1960 with a charter of twenty-three. Since then it has grown in number. One now finds Phi Taus in all phases of college life, from the captain of the track team to members of the faculty. Phi Kappa Tau stresses brotherhood, scholarship and character and tries to guide itself by and live up to these goals. The fraternity has become a harmonious group of college men working for one another's benefit and for the benefit of the national fraternity and the college in the social, moral, religious and intellectual aspects of life. The fraternity has established an annual scholarship for a Post stu- dent to preserve the memory of their beloved brother Skip Soltesy, who prestige and passed away in December, 1960. With the advent of spring comes the HNew England Tour , which includes a softball game with all the Phi Kappa Tau chapters in New England. Since Phi Tau is a social fraternity, its social calendar has such events as Founders Day, Remember the Alamo Day, Bastille Day, Viking Festival, Toga Parties, Boatride Parties, Spring and Fall Week. ends and numerous other parties as well as many events in conjunction with the neighboring chapter at St. ,lohn's University. 42 V ' ,
