Phi Delta Sorority, founded on Nov. 27, 1956, has benefited from and contributed to the spirit of a growing college. In keeping with this spirit the sisters of Phi Delta have maintained an active interest in both social and academic aspects of college life. The sisters are proud of the success of their pub Party as it is the first co-organized function to be sponsored by fraternal cooperation. Participation in the Follies '68 and Cheerleading, marks still two more events in sorority life. Student Government and Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities are repre- sented by Linda -Cirminiello. Phi Delta is also well represented on the Staffs of OPTICON 766 and the Sophomore Advisory Council. Phi Delta will be pres- ent in the competition for the national sweetheart of TKE as sister Joan Murkofsky was chosen queen of the 766 Crimson Ball. Each Spring the sisters spend a day with the boys from St. lVIary's Orphanage in Syosset and adopt a family during the Christmas sea- son. 1966 will mark the tenth Anniversary of the found- ing of Phi Delta and distinguish it as the oldest so- rority on campus. We hope that the fine tradition of the Sisterhood will be upheld in the future as it has been in the past. ,N ., -1 - 1 1 3 an nn an ii was 22 in an Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity has a young chapter on a young campus. Now celebrating our fourth year at C. W. Post, the brotherhood feels that the stage of 'cgrowing painsn has successfully been passed and we are Well on our way towards the establishment of a strong, mature fraternity. The Brothers of Alpha Epsilon Pi will re- member this year for many reasons. The first semester brought intramural football. Having defeated all other National Jewish Fraternities, we boast the coveted uYiddish Cupn. A most important part of the first semester was our rush and pledge program, highlighted by the smoker we held at brother Ben lVlatsiks Town and Country. The many social and fraternal affairs are too numerous to mention, but they rounded out the calendar to make this year a worthwhile and rewarding event in our young history. The Undergraduates of Alpha Epsilon Pi wish the best of luck to their graduating broth- ers: Robert Finkelstein, Robert Boyar, Barry Davis, Rick King, and Grand Chapter Charter Brother, Vic Kline.
