An important part of any col- lege is the campus that provide; a setting for the academics. Here at C . W. Post we are very fortunate to have sprawling law ; and spacious gardens. Each sea- son brings a vital change to the surrounding grounds. The vivid colors of Fall signal the onset of the football season. The falling snow of January signals the ap- proach 0f finals. Spring and its new Life seems to preface the advent of C 0mmencement for S em'ors and the emharkment upon new experiences.

During the past faur years, we have seen our campus grew from including only the Admin. istration Building, College Hall, and three laboratory buildings to stretch from N orthern Blvd. to the woods and from the Gym- nasium and Little Theatre to the dormitories. This growth has not been easy and there have been many growing pains. Perhaps the general feeling on expansion has been expressed best by Dr. Marengo, Director of the Division of Science, in a story he relates of a Jewish women who was selling flowers in the midst of the extensive construc- tion in the new Israel. When asked how she felt about such growth she exclaimed, Five thousand years the Jews have been waiting for a new homeland; now they have to build it during my lifetime!
