The two losses came e ands of Bloomsburg 24-0, and West Chester Wrestling State 15-13-two top Pennsylvania squads. The teams best matches were sparkling triumphs against previously undefeated and nationally ranked Wilkes College 22-7, Hofstra 22-6, and Kings Point 22-5. With these latter two victories the Pioneers won the Mythical Long Island Collegiate Wrestling Cham- pionship. The team also defeated such top notch teams as Fairleigh Dickinson, Montclair State, N.Y.U. and Cortland State. At the Wilkes Tournament, Gene Niedgielski took a second place trophy as he lost to Mark Weber, North- westernts Big Ten champ, in the fmals.
