fast Will and Zfvstumenl State of Learning County of Education City of Eppes Because we the class of 1956 are leaving dear old Eppes, we have a few old, precious possessions we should like to bequeath to those we think might need them. Article I To Eppes, our second home, we donate a new set of bricks and a new coat of paint. Article Il To Mr. Davenport, our faithful principal, we leave a bottle of sleeping pills that he may acquire some much deserved rest. To the faculty we leave bottles of Vitamin A, B, C, and D tablets hoping to restore all the lost energy our men- tors expended in our behalf. Article Ill To the underclassmen, we leave our advice to keep striving up the ladder whose top rung is success. Article IV Carolyn Reeves leaves her quiet dignity to Joanne Allen. Marva Moore bequeaths forty pounds of her weight to Hennie Thomas. Frank Norris, being of sound mind, does leave his expensive Clarinet to Geneva Porter. Freddie Outterbridge leaves his trim-fitting basketball suit to his brother Marvin. Mary Tyson leaves her corny jokes to Loretta Dupree. Ben Johnson leaves his neat handwriting to Edward Lewis. Verree Harris leaves her delightful catnaps in each of her classes to some tired and deserving junior. John Sumrell leaves his poise and quiet dignity to all jun- iors who laugh too much. Mamie Dickens leaves her seat in the beauty salon to Delois Little. Willie Jones leaves all the girls sighing with relief. Queenie Hemby leaves her affability to Theresa Daggs. William McGlone leaves his sense of humor to Robert Ed - wards. Virginia Newton leaves the rural districts for her kinsfolk. She prefers New York. Lester Best leaves his artistic skill to Wilma Perkins. Bernice Banks donates her unlimited gossiping ability to Rosa Lovett. Clennie Cox wills one-half of his knack for dressing to James Brewington. Mamie Johnson leaves her ability to be best dressed to Wista Adams. John Green is giving Floyd Dickens his oratorical tone of voice in the hope that he will talk louder. Doris Roundtree leaves her small eyes to Mary McClinton. Matthew Barnhill leaves Virgil Lynch the burden of carrying and playing the Sousaphone next year. Ruby Joyner presents to Billy Clark two measly drum sticks. James Lewis leaves his height to Robert Carney. Barbara Daggs is donating her beat up Underwood typewriter to Annie Porter to peck on. Elbert Kilpatrick leaves all his instructors in a nervous condition. Bessie Eaton bequeaths her table in the tea room to Valgene Gibbs. Mildred Hunt leaves her long silky hair to Minnie Randolph. Rudy Streeter leaves his Roadmaster Buick to his brother Joel. Harvey Darden wills each of his weary, fagged-out textbooks to William Teel. Though a little ragged, Billy Lynch passes his football socks on to Joe Baker. Andrew Gorham says if his football suit will fit anyone on next year's team, he can have it. David Gilbert gives the Moye twins a small portion of his height Coniel Holliday leaves his mechanical brain to Melvin Norfleet. Myrtle Short is giving some of her hair to Jane Jeffreys. William Moore passes on his job as the editor-in-chief of the EPPESONION to Jasper Armwood. Catherine Foreman wills her lady like disposition to Adele Joyner, Althea Duncan leaves her foot-steps to her brother Marvin. Even if thy have been used, Carol Graye leaves her false teeth to Patricia Thomas. Anna Hunt leaves her gorgeous red skirt to Thelma Lofton. Rovena Hardee just had to leave her marvelous hair styles to Geraldine Moore. Claretta Ward says you all may share her lovely instructors. Argie Keel leaves her high average to Governor Anderson. Shelton Wilson leaves his unabridged dictionary to Robert Parker. Bertha Gaye leaves her I don't know's to Doris Spell. DeRoy Gorham is giving his job at the florist to the lucky boy who can get it. Bernice Moore is leaving her Dorothy Dandridge walk to Faye Clark. Hilliard Staton passes his football position to Edmond Love. Shirley Taylor leaves her dance step to Gloria Nirnmo. Pearlie Turnage leaves her quietness to Yvonne Jones. Grant Wilcox leaves his favorite record, I'll Be Loving You Eternally to Beulah Weeks. l, Valeria Langley, do hereby leave my front seat in each of my classes to Rosa Duncan.
