Robert Reaves bestows upon Keith Elliott his exalted posi- tion of Assistant Bell Hop. ' Philip Johnson leaves his dislike of -grumbling to Martha Slate. L William Puryear bequeaths his intense hatred of studying to Tucker VVatkins who we fear is endangering his health by his long poring over books. Lessie Wilborn leaves her tongue to J. J. Lawson. Louise Anderson wills her seat in a 'gccrtainv car to who- ever applies. Janey Anderson bestows upon any girl who wishes them all of her letters that have a habit of coming to the school build- ing. V Mabel Blaekstock leaves her typical Southern drawl to Margaret Lasley, who insists upon talking so fast that she is absolutely unintelligible. 1 Virginia Crews leaves her fun of being sponsor to? Nathalie Farmer bequeaths her love for her friend Cicero to James Garrard. L Beryl Gordon bequeaths her extensive vocabulary to Byron Hubbard. Ruth Hale leaves her gray hairs, wrinkles and other signs of premature old age, caused by editing CHIT-CHAT to Vir- ginia Clarke, the assistant editor. Carolyn Hodges wills her seat in Detention Hall to William Waller with the hope that tardiness will not make his at- tendance in that august assemblage as regular as hers has been. I Margaret Moon bequeaths her grim and frowning facelto Arch. Johnston whose face is always wreathed in smiles.

VVO, the class of 1927 realizing .that our days are numbered in this life, wish to leave to those whose time is not quite so limited all of our most cherished possessions. We hope that their true value will be appreciated. 1xR'1'ICI.E I. Item I. To the School building wc gladly leave as good a student body as can be expected after our departure. Hem To Mr. Lacy, our principal we leave a full supply of excuse blanks, feeling that he has great need for such. Item 3. To the incoming Senior Class we will the numer- ous good qualities for which our Senior Class has been noted, with the sincere hope that emulating our example they may learn to conduct themselves with that sobriety and dignity characteristic of all of us. Margaret Stebbins leaves all the fun she has had holding class meeting and checking up invitations to the next Senior President. Ella Webb reluctantly leaves her love for Pretty Babies to Sarah Edmondson, who we are sure will have a quieting effect upon them. Lera Anderson leaves her attractive giggles to Louise Hen- derson. J , Dorothy Newcomb bestows upon John Blackwell her cute nickname, Dimpy. ' Wilbur Owen leaves his beautiful blushes to Mary Watkins. Dick Noblin wills his timid little laugh to Frank Sizemore. Frances Lantor leaves her great love of Algebra to Cary Stebbins. Doris Bane wills her ability to see into our future to- Doris Wood leaves her needles and thread used in Home Economics to Pearle Wechsler. Frances Bane bequeaths her unbroken flow of conversation to Louise Bennett. Ina Dun leaves her poetic genius to all budding rhyrnsters. 'race Blalock wills her permanent. wave to Freida Lantor. Nancy Patterson bequeaths upon Theresa Pence her en- viable ability to clog. Jesse Strickland leaves her hatred of playing the piano to Thelma Childress who does so love to practice.
