Once you are inside the auditorium for wherever the assembly is being heldj, try to locate the friends who saved you two good seats. After you have spotted them, proceed as quickly as possible to the seats. This may prove to be a diffi- cult task, since the four hundred students previously mentioned are attempting to do the same thing. Excuse me . . . excuse me . . . Why did they have to save us seats in the middle of the row?,' f'Look, you have a seat, so stop complaining. Besides, we're almost there . . .excuse me.. . Now that you are seated, sit back and enjoy the show. Hey, who's that girl in the blue?', Now how am I supposed to know?!! There are at least fourteen girls down there! ! Look, there she is . . . the one about five rows down and to your left . . . see her?' Oh yes, now I do. What about her? WHAT ABOUT HER??? Do you know her? Not really. I have her in my Physics class, but I don't know her name. Enter here BRAINS, the third very serious student: Hush, you two! Iim trying to concentrate on this show and I can't hear over you. Did you see the way he used that bicycle to demonstrate the generation of electricity?', fHere at this point at which most people know automatically what to do. However, if you do not, simply say Sorry!! and return to a former conversation, namely the one about the girl in the blue five rows down and to your left.J Hey, you know what I just realized?', What?', 1. Ice Cream supper sponsored by the Ath- letic Booster Club. 2. Brandon the magnificent presents a magic show for the student body. HBRAINS here danced with her at the Howdy Danceli' Sol That doesn't mean anything. Everyone danced with everyone at the Howdy Dance. That was a pretty good dance for the first dance of the year. You're getting off track. Don't you see? If he danced with her, then he probably knows her. And if he knows her, he could probably intro- duce me to her. Him? Know a cute girl like her? Are you kidding me. He,s not kidding you. WHAT? You really know her, BRAINS? Yes, I really know her. Listen, I'm willing to make a deal with you. If you two can be quiet for the rest of the show, I promise that when it is over, I will introduce her to you. You really mean that Brains? Yes, I really mean that. Now how about it, is it a deal? It is a deal. Good. By the way, my name is not Brains, it is Mike. Sure thing Brai . . . uh, Mike. Can I ask you a stupid question, Mike? Fire awayf' Why are you taking notes? Do you always do that at assemblies? If it is none of my business, well . . . NO, that is okay, I will tell you my secret. I only take notes on assem- blies when I am having a test over it later in Physics. Now can I ask you a stupid question? 'gSuref' Don't you have Physics the same period as me?'7 About this time you realize that you do have Physics with Mike, you ARE having a test, and the test will count as a major grade. As quiet hys- terics set in, you should turn to Mike and either borrow some paper or: Uh, Mike? Could I borrow your notes since the demonstration is almost over? The girl in the blue is going to have to wait . . . 4737 Anybody - Activities '13
