I pull up to the school with my eyes still half shut. I'm still tired from working the night before. I walk into school won- dering what will happen to influence my life today, something excitingl hope. I'm met in the hall with, . . . donit forget the meet- ing at break, followed by, Can you bring cookies to the dance? and, what commit- tee did you want to be on?,' . . . The mind machine has started to function-I'll never make it through the week . . . how'd I ever get so involved? . . I feel like I haven't slept in a week. I'm off to my classes and it's break. Well at leastl made it to the meeting and so far nothing eicciting has happened. Will it ever? This meeting will come to . . . yes, I can bring those, what committee aml on? . . . Saturday at 2? sure I can be there. This week Iall have two hours and thirty-seven minutes of free time . . . Sunday, too? . . . 0h well, there go the two hours. I make it to lunch where I stuff a hamburgerf?j and Coke down my throat while being reminded of my responsibilities to everyone else. Too bad I can't make time. The last bell rings and I'm on my way home at 41:35 after attending two meetings, three committees and one election. Homewhow strange it feels to be here, well off to my activities . . . when's something exciting going to happen? Maybe tomorrow if I have enough Time . . .
