The Anniversary Celebration 12 -Homecoming Paintstreamerspaperglittcrballoons and GRAPIYVINES entwined throughout Homecoming Week for the greatest ex- plosion of Spiritmania 777. Pro- minately decorated doors and weighed down walls of silent signs proclaimed perpetual victory by swinging past, breaking. and locking up miseonstrued milicious Mustangs . . . As the last moment dc- Lails were being put up, the school burst i11to a Beardom of mass anxi- eties. The Cominghome spirit rally began with reminiscing exes and lively students intensely awaiting the announcement of the 1977 Homecoming Queen-Melody Ware. The uneasiness and formalities faded away as vigor and enthusiasm replaced it for the anticipation of the GAME. Even though the Bears experienced the Mustarig-blues, the Homecoming continued on in its quest for remembrance. Though it was not to be found in Black Diamonds, the students, satisfiably for the hard-working few, definitely made Homecoming 777 one of the best things that ever came home. Awaiting the big moment UP. Up, and Away? Sophomore sign.
