Get With lt! Prosecution: My next point of evidence-pep rallies. I suppose that you, Brewer, want them CHANGED? Brewer: Yes, I think our pep rallies can be greatly improved upon. Prosecution: In what way? Brewer: Mainly in the way of student involvement-or Spirit. On the whole, most of our pep rallies are very spirited, but there are times when the students themselves could get more involved. PI'0SeCUti0n1 What do you mean by this? Aren't the pep ral- lies mainly conducted by the students? Brewer: Yes, they are. The cheerleaders, band, drill team, and various organizations all have a big part in the pep ral- lies. It's some of the students who are not involved in these organizations to whom l'm referring. These students are the ones who remain seated during cheers, or don't even come to the pep rallies at all. I believe that if these students would CHANGE their atti- tudes, the whole atmosphere of the pep rallies would CHANGE, also. l have nothing further to say E Pep Rallies - 15
