The Bio-Medical Careers Clubis biggest event this year was their weekend trip to Welder Wildlife Refuge in February. Armed with flashlights, sleeping bags, and lots of firewood, they set out on a school bus to face the wilderness.', They learned of the area's natural history, made casts of animal tracks, and tried their hands at nature photography, set- ting traps, making study skins and chasing javelina.
