STI GERETTE Spirit Wa Under the leadership of Mrs. Rhonda Glass, sponsor, and Trelvis Zenter, presi- dent, the 1981-82 Pep Squad exhibited spirit for the whole school. With en- thusiasm they cheered at the pep rallies and games. During practice from 7:00 to 9:00 A.M. last summer, Pep Squad members learned hand and pom-pon routines, and painted banners. The Stingerettes were greatly im- proved last year with new drum cadences, a new I Line, and pom-pons for the first time. In September the members of the Pep Squad performed ex- cellently in the Greenwood parade. To raise money for new drum heads, drum corps sold pom-pons and all members sold memo pads. At the Superstar Drill Team Camp last summer, the officers won many awards and ribbons. In all these fun activities, the 1981-82 Stingerettes showed spirit and enthusiasm throughout the year. Trelvis Zenter cheered for the seniors during the Battle Cry. 30 Organizations Pep Squad officers were: Trelvis Zenler, president: Lesley Cook, vice-president: Amy Winder, drum major: DeeAnn Parker, treasurer. Members of the Pep Squad cheered enhtusiastically for the football players.
