The 23 honored seniors chosen for N.H.S., sold carnations in the spring. luniors who were inducted as new members served as ushers at graduation. QUILL 84 SCROLL: Excellent lournalists Quill and Scroll, a national honor organization, consisted of many outstan- ding journalism students. These students were selected by the GUSHER and HIGH LIFE sponsors. To be a member of this organization, juniors were to maintain a 3.0 average, while seniors maintained a 2.5 average. All new members were in- stalled by reciting an oath at the annual assembly held in May. Mrs. Helen Veillon was the sponsor for Quill and Scroll. Officers of Quill and Scroll were: Karen Moore, president: Beth Ann Ar- nold, secretary-treasurer.
