At Byrd We Heard Sounds Many things contributed to the life of a student at Byrd. In his years at Byrd each student was influenced by teachers, classmates, and the various activities in which he participated. Maturity was gained as each student carried out his daily routine with anticipation. There were pep rallies, planned activities, and various sports to watch for enjoyment. Hope, silence, sadness, spirit, and joy were experienced by every student at Byrd every day throughout the year. The impression made on students by experi¬ ences and people met will remain for life. 4 GUSHER
