IKES TO DANCE ln the Spring the Juniors entertained the Citi- zens of Byrd with their annual Junior Prom. The danevs given at Byrd are vhaperoned hy the faculty rnenthers. All the various dances are well attended hy students frotn all Shreveport sehoolsg thus tht- danve not only provides entertainment hut also promotes friendly relationship between the schools. Climaxing a crazy mixed up week tht- Etude-nt Council gave a Sadie Hawkins dance. On the night of Hay 10th tho- girls traded places with tht- hnys. l Highlighting the school year the annual Junior Prom given by the Junior Class occurs in the Spring. After a wonderful football season, the Student Council gave a Sock Hop in the new gym following the State game' Spirits run high as the citizens of Byrd celebrate the Thanksgiving After the Jacket victory over Lake Charles in the semi- vlcwry Orff Pau Park' finals, students crowd the Youth Center for the after- thevgame dance.
