I iiafitstrial Arts Our Byrd woodwork department gives pupils a wonderful opportunity to acquire a sound knowledge of construction and carpentry. The excellent tools and equipment provided by the school enables the students to exercise their skill and knowledge to the best of their abilities. R.O.T.C. classes meet every day, and the course is taken instead of the regulrrr physical education courses for boys. It is open to Sopho- more. junior. and Senior boys, Byrd and Fair Park are the only High Schools in this state th.1t have R,O,T.C. Shreveport is indeed fortunate in having this fine Regiment.
