G1 ea! men mzzzd lzke rolztmy towen zzz the cztg 0 God HEXRH XY ADSXX ORI H IONIC FELLOW Throughout the period that Mr Koffman has been principal of the City of Byrd he has stood for the highest ideals in life During his thirty five years of devoted service he has spent his time and efforts tion in the fundamentals of education and to prepare us to take our places as citizens of tomorrow He has contributed much to Byrd High School His ideals have been instilled in every students mind and his sense of fair play has opened limitless opportunt1es to many of us Our principal has earned a nationwide reputation as a school admin istrator He is respected for the sound and yy orkable practices he has set up to run a large high school as well as for his high moral character Practices first started in our school by Mr Koffman have been widely copied by other schools Mr Koffman has endeared himself to us by his kindly interest in our welfare The standards he has set up and the principles he has laid dovyn have become an important part of our lives. The ideals of Grover C. Koffman yu ill echo through the halls of Byrd for generations to come. Each years graduates are proud to be remembered as a part of his family. His children will always follow and remember the fine ex- amples set for them.
