The High Life is the school newspaper, which is compiled, published, and circulated by seven departments: the Advertising staff, the Business staff, the Circulation staff, the Exchange department, two Editorial staffs and the Art Staff. The High Life had the honor of being rated the Best AA Newspaper of 1953 in Louisiana. Last year this publication won first place in the Columbia Scholastic Press Association and Quill and Scroll International Honor Rating. as Ft is ,, One of Miss Harrel's Journalism classes practices proofreading in workbooks.
