A very successful concert season was enjoyed by the depart- ment, including performances at the Veterans Hospital, the PTA Conference, the March of Dimes, and the State Adminis- trator's Convention. A Varsity concert, the annual spring con- cert and an exchange concert in Vicksburg, Mississippi were well received. Our department strives to acquaint the music student with the finest in music literature performed to the best of his ability, to develope a sensitive appreciation and enjoyment of music as an art, and to instill in him a sense of self pride and responsibility.
