Convening in Baton Rouge, they meet with representatives from high schools all over the state to follow a program planned by the American Legion and designed to acquaint young people with the functions of their government. GIRLS’ GLEE CLUB At present there is a greater demand for music among girls than among boys. For this reason there is a Girls’ Glee Club, which has proven very capable and has participated in the Thanksgiving Assembly, the large Christmas Assembly, and numerous other programs. Originated to serve those with lesser interest and ability the B choir learned music to serve their own pleasure. However, they learned so rapidly and well they are now a performing choir on their own merit and participate in numerous assemblies for everyone’s pleasure. B” CHOIR HENRY J.
