A CAPPELLA CHOIR The 1949-50 A Cappella Choir is one of the largest in the history of Byrd. Some of the varied activities in which the choir has participated were assembly programs, the Christmas program at the Municipal Auditorium, a two-hour Christmas program for the Byrd student body, the spring operetta, Shreds and Patches, and their own Spring Concert. Student song leaders and accom- panists were chosen from the Choir for each assembly of the year. The Choir has furnished upon request, many small ensembles and soloists for entertainment at civic luncheon clubs. T wenty-Six
