Junior class staged three one act plays ' It's Cold in Them Thar Hills was a hillbilly comedy. Pa iBob Ledford! is concerned with mar- rying off Snoddy, his oldest daughter. Snoddy is happiest when with her pet hog, Hubert, but she would like a husband. Bill Vandemere lMike Hib- bardl happens along. Pa gets out his shot gun, and excitement follows. Finally Zeke tTerry Cowelll confesses his love for Snoddy and all ends happily. The Farmer's Daughter was a melodrama in which Sally, a country girl, played by Chris Rob- ison, is tricked out of her hard earned savings by the Villian lMike Martelll, who promises to make her a star. However, he is caught by the hero iRoland Martini and all ends well. So the Jury was Hung was a farce about a jury consisting of eleven women and one man iDennis Eilertl. Naturally, several of the women would like to trap the man, and he must break up a terrific fight between Mrs. Umbargo lLori Judsonl and Mrs. Schneezer lGerry Farkasl. As ,the play ends, Dennis is being soothed by Miss Spinster lCindy Weiklel. The junior plays were directed by Mrs. Andrea Broadus.
