LOIS HOBART Mary Hopkins once said, ,fFor everything, there is a season, turn, turn, turn. The great expectation that is anticipated upon entering the Freshman year — exploring, experimenting, and learning through mistakes — is the new season we all encouter in life's endeavors. The buds have opened, the leaves have developed, and as Sophomores in any life experience we go forward with false confidence. For haven't we overcome those faltering steps of spring? And so, with this perspective, summer fades away and autumn begins. A dim awareness comes over us as we go through our Junior year because we realize that we, too, are changing like the seasons. As is with the trees, the leaves are now no longer their garish colors of green but rather matured and be- come endowed with a new spectrum. The old leaves begin to drop as we reach the climax and prepare to begin an- other new stage. For our Senior year is one made up not only of reflections but also perceptions, not just of memories but also of foresights. For all along life's road there is a season and a purpose for every reason under God's heaven.
