Another boost in our journey to the Sea of Success was the addition of a new journalism class, taught by Mr. Michael Jerding. The class assumed the responsibility of publishing the school paper. This gave them first-hand experience in conducting interviews and in writing news stories, feature articles, columns, and headlines. Publishing their journalistic endeavors was not the only function of the Staff. They toured the Durand and Brod- head printing plants and attended a seminar in Rockford. The Inkspot crew produced and published a fine paper, which all the students were proud of.
