Senior Play The people vs. Maxine Lowe, our Senior Play, was presented Nov. 18 and 19th. Judging from compliments received, the people watching must have enjoyed the play as much as those who put it on. Class Prophecy Medicine, too, has attracted two members. Dennis Freedlund is interning in a hospital where they train student nurses and Cathy Hardenbrook is head technologist in a medical lab in DeKalb. Quite a few have stayed at home in Byron instead of venturing out into the world. Bill Fruin is coaching the highly rated basketball team here and John Shank has opened a gym- nasiam and pool hall just outside the city limits. Bobbie DeShazo has finally graduated from beauty school and is joining Linda Winterton in her beauty shop next month. Nancy Campbell is running the White Pines Rollar Palace. Bill Michauz has gone into partnership with his father and is pulling the teeth; Byron is now toothless. There are several competitive grocery stores in Byron. George Reeverts is owner of the Cash and You Carry and Dennis Brantner is owner of the Credit and Carry. Dennis is pro- fiting because of a high interest rate. Terry Garman is running the after hours store. The school system is happy (?) to have George Wisely to teach their five 3B English classes. The school is also blessed with five up-and-coming football players, sons of Mary Kay Noyes. Patsy Capes is doing a stupendous business in the family restaurant. Jim Kilmer has just set a new record in gasoline sales at the Cory's Bluff station. Charlie Quarton is now successful in politics being elected the city dog catcher. (He specializes in catching good 'coon hunting dogs.) Ken Reeverts is now running a completely automatic farm which can be controlled from his favorite arm chair. That just about raps u----wait!!!
