THE FOOTBALL SEASON fBynum 7 Aledo 05 Spirit ran high following the big pep rally and the Bulldogs dedicated their new field to whip Aledo '7-0 Sonnenberg waded through mud and Aledo linemen to spark the Bynum victory Bynum s defense was like cast iron. fBynum 13 Dawson Oj The Bulldogs turned back a good Dawson team with Cain Sonnenberg and Huse leading the way Bynum had a big night and was one of the state s best class B teams for the evening Roden Havis btandly and Bielefeldt were line stars 'Y fBynum 48 Frost OJ Playing away from home Bynum swamped Frost with a touchdown avalanche that could have been more Freshman Harold Gene Campbell made a touchdown in his first game adding to scores by Caln Greer Sonnenberg and Huse Corpier turned star in the line to stop Frost cold I fBynum 39 Mildred 145 The Bulldogs took a safe lead and coasted in for victory Stephens Greer and Daniels joined Havis and Roden as line standouts Cain s total gain for the night was 300 yards as he also made 4 touchdowns fBynum 6 Whitney 543 Bynum lost Those were bitter words as Bynum fell for the first time this season to Whitney s champion Wildcats of class A Cain raced 70 yards and the Bulldogs shot ahead 6 0 Whitney fought back to take a close 14 7 halftime lead Sheer experience told the story in the second half as the Wildcats from the Brazos pulled away H' 1
