Having Fun Yet? You arrive at your eight o'clock class at 8:07 with your hair sticking straight up and creases in one side of your Race. Its definitely one of THOSE days! The day progresses progessively worse, and several times you scowl as you remember the title page of this yearbook which says we go to school just for the fun of it. With this thought in mind, you sarcastically mumble to yourself 'Are we having fun yet? Of course your an- swer to this question is no, but for all of us who have seen you today, it is definitely a yes! So take a look in the mirror, kick back, and have fun!! ti SQ? is S?.xg . 12 qv- aim Most things can be recorded in a year- book - things that take place every year. Howeven there are some things, the feel- ings, that are difficult to capture. These feelings - a feeling of pride in your school, an extremely funny moment, a sense of ac- complishment or dekat - are very strong emotions usually lost in the hub-bub of other school activities recorded in the year- book. Yet many hail to realize that it is precisely these emotions that determine who you are and what you expect from life and describe your entire school career with - out words. Feelings - how simple, yet piercing they can be. Remember that overwhelming sense ofjubilation after winning state? You could hardly contain the excitement or suppress the tears which released all of the long months of hard work. Or when losing that crucial game, remember the sense of loss and heartache felt when seeing tears of frus- tration and dekat falling Hom our players' hzces. On a more pleasant note, remember the swell of pride when you received that unex- pected A in Biology? How about those late nights at a lriendlv house when everything seems funny and no one can go to sleep for laughing. Don 't forget the feeling when you had just gotten a date with that special person, and you just wanted to shout with excitement. Remember these feelings, the strong emotions, the memories they created. Re- member the good times, the bad times. Remember school. Laura Barrick, Senior Suzi Hall, Smior Stacy Pendergralt, junior
