l6'yz1rs-H al I Hand The Byars-Hall Band was organized in the tall of 1950 under the direction of Mr. Hugh H. Mathews. About sixty students were in the group. Students and parents alike first heard the new band at a Christmas assembly program on the last day of school before the Christmas holidays in l95O.
