W To you, Coach Dahlberg, we dedicate this, our I947 Bulldog, to commemorate your twenty-fifth year of service at Butte high school. In football nine teams coached by you won state championships, one team was co-champ, and four teams merited second place. ln basketball you developed eight teams which won first place in district or state competition. Eleven of your teams took first place in state track finals while another eleven finished second. Through this quarter century your teams have brought fame and recognition to Butte and Butte high school. No other coach in state secondary schools can boast a comparable record. Moreover, this silver jubilee year we commend your success as a teacher in the field of physical education where you have distinguished yourself. This story of our travels in the universe we dedicate to you. ln the years that are to come we know you'll add further successes and increase the prestige of our Alma Mater in sports circles.

MISS ROSE DEENEY After o brief illness Miss Rose Deeney, popular teacher, died October 24, l946. She had been an instructor in the history department for many years and was widely known and well thought of in this community. Her students remember her kindly helpfulness and her calm patience. Her death made us pause in our hurrying journey to think seriously not only of our educational goal but also the objectives of our whole life. This reflection made us wish that when it comes our time to leave this world we may have led a life as useful as hers and that we may be remembered with love and grief by so many.
