8 MISS THULA RODES Our trail would not be prop- erly blazed without the girls in the main office, Helen Steen and Margaret Mil- ler, two most helpful forest guides. ln addition to keep- ing the routine journals of our trip, they have handled many additional chores to aid us in our wooded trek. We have found them ever- willing to help make our journey enjoyable. Dean of girls, Miss Thula Rodes, has proved herself a loyal and hard- working member of the Butte high school administrative staff. She is never too busy to give her careful consideration to the problems con- fronting the students, Her helpful guidance aided our group of for- esters in overcoming many of the obstacles which they met on their path through the forest. l-ler qual- ities of patience and understanding, in addition to her deep interest in student activities, have won her much respect and admiration from the student body.
