Miss Haley heads the Commercial Department, is senior class adviser, and is adviser to the Town- ship Topics staff. The students have for art instructor Mrs. Kehler, who also teaches geography and capably sponsors the Ceramics Club. ln addition, she di- rects all special art required for banquets and stage productions. Miss Hehn heads the Music Department, di- rects the orchestra and all choral groups. She teaches history to seventh grade and music to grades seven, eight, and nine. Miss Irwin teaches history to eighth gmflc, arithmetic to seventh, eighth, and ninth grades, and science to seventh grade. She sponsors a Reading Club and has charge of caps and gowns during graduation week. Miss Sheridan teaches seventh and eighth grade English, is adviser to the Cheerleaders, and sponsors the Needlecraft Club. Mrs. Conville teaches ninth grade civics, ninth and tenth grade English and seventh and eighth grade science. She directs the Sub-Deb Club. Miss Rowland, who is one of the junior class advisers, teaches English to the seniors, juniors, and sophomores. She is the Americana adviser and has sponsored all yearbooks published at But- ler High. Mrs. Colahan, R. N., is our efficient school nu1'se.
