My .. , The Student Council's purpose is to present the student's viewpoints to the faculty and to help formulate new school policies. Members try to develop the interest of the students and the teachers in order to raise student standards and to promote closer understanding between the student body and teachers. Here is every student's opportunity to make his voice known in the gov- ernment of his school, and to prepare himself for his future place as a citizen.

They strive to develop high standards of Christian charac- ter in the school and community. Each year the Hi-Y sponsors the queen contest and the dance which follows. They also join the Tri-Hi -Y in joint parties during the holidays.
