They strive to develop high standards of Christian charac- ter in the school and community. Each year the Hi-Y sponsors the queen contest and the dance which follows. They also join the Tri-Hi -Y in joint parties during the holidays.

Members try to develop the interest of the students and the teachers in order to raise student standards and to promote closer understanding between the student body and teachers.
