JANITORS Our school is very fortunate to have such a fine group of men like Albert Brown, Clyde Chandler, and Earl Eakright for janitors. Clyde and Brownie are respon- sible for keeping the junior high and high school building clean and orderly while Mr. Eakright is given the responsibility of keeping the elementary building clean. These men always have a smile or a friendly word for all the stu- dents. The janitors work during school sessions, keeping everything in ship-shape and they also can be seen working during the summer months getting the building ready for a new school year. Hats off to these three fine men: Clyde, Brownie, and Earl. COOKS The cooks are given the big job of planning, preparing, and serving the meals for the school students. No matter how big this job, Estilene Jennings and Glendilene Ginder manage to get the job well done. Using our new cafetorium with all its modern equipment, these women feed approximately 275 stu- dents daily. OUR JANITORS OUR COOKS OUR BUS DRIVERS BUS DRIVERS Our rural students are brought to and from school every morning and evening by our bus drivers. These men are always ready to be a friend to the students and still use discipline for safety's sake. In all types of weather, these bus drivers can be seen getting their buses ready. These men not only carry the country students to and from school, but use their buses for the band trips and out-of-town bas- ketball games. Our school is indeed fortunate to have such a hard working and responsible group of men like our bus drivers. Courtesy of HIGLEY'S BOOK STORE

TEACHERS Living in the modern world that we do today, we need teachers with new and modern ideas. Here at Butler High we have just such teachers to fill those qualifications. Many of our teachers are teaching more than one course and are being very success- ful at it. As they teach, they also learn. The faculty at B.H.S. not only stands as a teacher, but a friend to all students. Yet they are firm in their beliefs and exercise discipline whenever necessary. Each day is spent in teaching, making assignments, and grading tests. Our teachers have proved themselves responsible people, capable of meeting the high standards of teachers. MR. WILLIAM W.
