an Z ' Another part of our life at Butler High were the exciting moments when our different queens were crowned. After the excitement of winning our first basketball game was the thrilling moment when the homecoming queen, Sandy Keller, was crowned. On a frosty night with the school gym filled with laughter and fun, our second queen was crowned. Sharon Wilson and Jerry McKean were crowned Cin- derella and Prince Charming. Last but not least our third queen was crowned for the year of 1961. Tamara Lowe was crowned re- lay queen. Although next year will bring new can- didates and new queens, we will never forget our queens for 1961. Smiling are Jerry McKean and Sharon Wilson as they are being crowned Cinderella and Prince Charming by Ronald Fisher. Linda Nichols, Ceorgianna Reed, and Carla McKee watch as Mr. Gorrell crowns Tamara Lowe relay queen. Compliments of WASSON TRUCKINC Om 70ofzZai Surprised but happy, Sandy Keller is being crowned 1961 homecoming queen by the 1960 homecoming queen, Marlene Kessler.

Pride of the Juniors--the wearing of their class rings. One of the biggest highlights in the lives of all stu- dents is the day they receive their class rings. Finally after four years of waiting the day arrives when the senior pictures are taken. Proud Sophomores--A group of proud sophomores show off their class sweaters. Their next big mom- ent will be when they receive their class rings. Compliments of HENDRICKSON TAMDEM CORP. 10 All students look forward to the great day when they receive their class sweat- ers, class rings, and finally their senior pictures. They start out in their sophomore year with the class sweater, then in their junior year they receive their class rings. Then comes their biggest year and their senior pictures. Each item will help the students to remember his years at Butler High. Vw- X
