In O P A p p U, plytlpppp pp ,pplpp 94 CLASS PRCPHECY Flash! Listen all America! This is your news correspondent and writer for the Rick Rack Daily, bringing you news of the latest events. A report has just been handed to me that the well-known musical director, Roger Schueler, has just been hailed into court for the creation of music too fast to be heard. His representative in court will be -loe tlberlin, who is said to be be a potential candidate for president on the Democratic ticket in the next election. Flash! Margery Long, one of our ace news reporters, will leave tomorrow for Paris, France, to take over the job of gathering news for this paper. Home very colorful experiences should he related to us by way of her ex- pressive pen. Flash! The boat leaving for England yesterday carried some very in- teresting passengers. Among them was liois Xeuenschwander who only last year escaped from a savage tribe of natives in t'entral Africa while working as a missionary. She will return to Africa soon after her trip to England. Also on the boat were two well-known teachers, Evelyn Jennings, teacher of English, and Phyllis Proudfoot, who has also had several of her poems published in the last yea1'. Flash! The new bridge spanning the Atlantic tlcean under the con- struction of engineers, Gene Brown and Thomas Haynes, is reported nearly finished. The president, on the day of its completion, will acknowledge his appreciation for this advancement in transportation over a nation-wide hook- up. The tirst person to travel across this magnificent structure will be the speed demon, Theron Hanes, in his newly constructed racing car. Definite plans have not been made as to the time of his departure, but I am sure all of you will want to see his spectacular finish. Flash! Attention, all sports lovers! IJ. tl, XVasson, the track runner who is said to be a second -lesse tlwens, will arrive at New York harbor next week from his visit in Europe. He is bringing back with him many honors and will be given special recognition by all sport fans. George YVeicht, the Chicago t'ub pitcher, was badly hurt yesterday while in the training camp when a bat was hurled at him. His wife, the former Katheryn Mae Nimmons. and now the club 's reporter, assisted in taking him to the Higley Hospital. There he was immediately operated on for brain concussion by the famous surgeon, Ur. Margaret Higley, assisted hy Dr. Martha Johnson, the former Martha Platt, and now the wife of the famous play-boy, Wilbur Johnson. George's condition is very much improved this morning, and it is hoped that he will soon be back in the line-up. l'ntil this time arrives, he will be under the care of the nurse, Rita Schueller. And now for a little romance in the news of sports. Carolus Kepler, the heavyweight champion boxer, is said to Page Tuwllfy-lf'o1ll'
