We realize that understanding is a shared responsibility and it serves its purpose best when it changes our relationship with others, and brings about situations profitable to those you get involved with and those you meet. This year serving as your Business Manager, I would like to leave this idea with you. There are treasures of knowledge un- buried, but are opened by understanding and shared responsibili- ty. Tommy Byrd — Editor c7 fnnu Dear Tigers, It has been a great pleasure serving as Editor-in-Chief for the year 75-76. The Annual Staff has worked diligently to give to the Faculty and the student body a yearbook that everyone will appreciate. We have tried to use our knowledge and our experi- ences to the best of our ability, in putting together this yearbook which we hope will add a bit of joy and moments of relaxation as you thumb through these pages today and years to come. The Annual Staff and I hope that you will find value in the theme which we have tried to develop throughout this issue of the Tiger. Understanding is a shared Responsibility. We strong- ly believe that understanding plays an important part around Butler and throughout life. It is not only gaining knowledge, but is also applying that knowledge in living and working together peacefully. Without understanding, there is no peace. May we continue to strive for peace, understanding and to be understood.
