Graduation cele- brores our success os we end our most rurbulenr yeors, when we. os individuals, tried to find out who we were ond whor life wos oil about. In doing so. we created memories rhor will remain with us os we move on. Our memories begin with our freshmen uncertainties ond end with our confidence os seniors. We starred high school dreading the interminable yeors oheod of us. We eventually mode it through our freshmon yeor, ond even our sophomore ond junior yeors. Now. os we complete our senior yeor. we realize this yeor wos the end of o beginning. Our senior yeor wos o yeor of lasts . . . our lost detention, our lost Blue ond Gold pass, our lost high school pep roily, our lost Harvest Boll, our lost high school football gome. We end o rime in which we hove grown os individuals able to moke decisions, ro meet challenges, ond ro develop lasting friendships. With graduation, we end not only our senior yeor. but our public school career, os well. We hove reached the end of our beginning, the end of our childhood, of public education, of the security of youth. In the midst of the excitement of looking oheod. the thrill of new challenges ond experiences, on escape from the bonds of youth, we pause ro look bock with o smile or the memories of days post.
