The adventure of BHS was just beginning four years ago. “August 28. 1980 a Freshman Orientation will be held. All Freshmen are required to attend.” This phase opened the door to four years of Halloween Dances, pep rallies, candy sales, carnation sales, and ticket sales for various functions. We’ve been led through four seasons of every sport. We’ve seen new organizations take root over the years, and old ones disappear. We’ve seen the pac-mans, the preppies, the punks, the General Hospital fans, and the members only. We’ve seen the smurfs, the Valley Girls. MTV. the ”Z”, and “Another One Bites the Dust.” As each new class enters BHS, we are pushed along to face new dilemmas. And now we collect the bundle of memories and every trace of our existence and move along. Whichever way this journey will lead, the experience of BHS has left a definite impression and will forever remain a part of us. Sure. I've Got A Girl In Every Port. . We Are The Champions?

“9GNIOR 9WU9’ They call it Senior Status, and without a doubt, it's around. A condition affecting all Seniors, it commands constant attention, and results in a profound disdain for underclassmen. Seniors are immediately distinguishable by their air of superiority, and the smug declaration, “Senior Privilege, as they take advantage of one of their many opportunities. Take the Blue and Gold Pass, for example. It is definitely in great demand, for this little gem allows escape from the agony of study halls and early dismissal from lunch periods. And where does such escape lead one? Seniors on Blue and Gold are commonly found in the library, courtyard, or in the ever-popular Senior Lounge, relaxing with the stereo or their favorite soaps and game shows. But what price this passport to freedom? Seniors must maintain passing grades in all of their classes and be absent no more than four times a marking period to be eligible for a Blue and Gold pass. And that isn't the end of the opportunities available in one’s Senior year. Seniors are also recipients of Late Arrival and Early Dismissal privileges, as well as a prestige which brings them straight to the front of the cafeteria’s lunch lines. It is said that “good things come to those who wait; Senior Status is a positive confirmation of that old adage! DEPENDABLE AND RESPONSIBLE ATTITUDE TOWARDS SCHOOL POLICIES AND REGULATIONS.
