Who spent numerous hours selflessly giving of her patience her knowledge and her love. A teacher, yet a friend. Miss Nielsen... Certainly, we respected her. We held her in highest esteem. But while our minds realized her intellectual capabilities, our hearts were penetrated by her goodness. Indeed, she will be remembered and loved by all who were touched by her person. Dedication Miss Dina G. Nielsen January 1, 1919 - September 23, 1977 Miss Nielsen was a graduate of the Oakland Grammar School, Butler High School Montclair State Teachers’ College. She did her student teaching in the math department of Butler High School and began her teaching career here in September 1940. She was Senior Class Advisor for many years and the Math Department Chairman but gave up the latter because she wished to be around the students and loved her teaching profession.
