The Spirit of ’76 isn't the past -- it’s the present and the future. We are the people who can make it have a new and special meaning not an old and worn out idea! Just as the U.S. was beginning a new experience in 1776, so are we, the class of 1976, beginning a new experience. We’ve learned just as the colonists learned — through experience. Now is the time that we will be on our own with our exper- iences and knowledge to guide us.
