LIFE FRESHMAN PARENTS, on .i tour through the school, stop at the high school office where Mr. Van Vliet explains the permanent records. Tlie teachers at Butler have always worked with and for the students. Two years ago members of the faculty organized a scholar- ship fund for the benefit of worthy seniors who wanted to attend college and needed financial assistance. To raise money for this fund, they presented two one-act plays and .1 musical interlude on March 27, 1953. Teachers met with our parents throughout the 'school year, too. In October the fresh- men parents took a tour of the building and inet informally with their children's teachers.
