We hope that like Old King Cole, youive been a merry old soul for the greater part of this time and that you'll have many pleasant memories that will shine out like the 'Qlittle starn that twinkled up above the world so high. Now, instead of four-and-twenty blackbirds leaving a pie, four hundred eighty seniors are about to leave high school for the last time. So that you'll remember The man who was going to St. Ives, and the students who are going to their life,s workg The old woman who had so many children she Clidn,t know what to do, and the senior classes that were bulging full, Little Tom Tucker' who sang for his supper, and the time put in on homework so we'd have good grades, Little Jack Horner who was so pleased with himself, And the glow of pride we'll feel when we march down the aisle to Pomp and Circumstancev, we have chosen nursery rhymes as the theme of the Senior Magnet of 1952 with the hope that just as the haunting lines of Mother Goose have lingered in your mind, so as you turn the pages of this book, now and in years to come, familiar times and faces will live for you again. Sincerely, Humpty and Dumpty and the rest of the staff
