Art Club The Art Club began the year with various fund -raising projects. Two of these projects were selling candles that the club made during the Christmas season and sponsoring concession stands at the ball games. Again this year, they sponsored a float entry in the Homecoming parade. The club participated in many art contests throughout the year. Kevin Rockwood received an award at the Bates County Art Show for his entry. Several field trips were taken at the end of the year. I Art Club exhibits many interesting displays. The candidates for Barnwarming Queen and their Attendants took a test to evaluate their knowledge of Agriculture. The class that made the highest cumu- lative score was chosen Barnwarming Queen and At- tendant. The following were the queen and attendant candidates: Debbie Kenney and Cindy Payne, seniorsg Becky Wheatly and Shirlie Diehl, juniorsg Martha Davis and Mary Alice Brumback, freshmen. The sophomore candidates Maribeth Diehl and Gay Shubert were chosen the 1971-'72 Barnwarming Queen and Attendant. Doug Diehl, FFA president crowns his sister as Barn- warming Queen.

French lub Fun a la francaise was the theme this year as French Club members enjoyed the traditional bonfire hosted by the Hedges' family, the traditional Christmas caroling, followed by a party in the Logan home, and a fun- hold.
